White Biscuits with Almonds

Recipe Description

In Romanian: Pesmeti albi cu migdale (sau nuci)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered sugar|confectioner's sugar,
  • 1/2 cup melted and cooled butter,
  • 4 sieved hard boiled eggs,
  • 2 whole eggs,
  • vanilla,
  • flour as needed,
  • 3 tablespoons almond#Sliced almonds|sliced almonds (walnuts)

Directions

  1. cream the Granulated sugar|Sugar, butter and the 2 raw eggs.
  2. Add vanilla and sieved hard boiled eggs, mix well, then knead well with flour to make a medium soft dough.
  3. Let rest for 1/2 hour, then shape into small patties.
  4. Sprinkle them with almond#Sliced almonds|sliced almonds or walnuts. Bake at medium heat.
