Broiled Fruit Kebabs


  • 1 cantaloupe, 1 honeydew, and 1/2 watermelon, each cut into 24 one-inch squares
  • 8 wooden skewers, soaked 30 minutes in water
  • 1/4 cup raw brown sugar
  • 4 to 5 sprigs mint


Alternating fruits, place squares onto skewers. Heat broiler to high. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray. Place skewers on sheet and sprinkle with brown sugar; broil until slightly bubbly on one side, and turn to repeat, about 2 minutes per side. Remove and chill 1 hour. Garnish with mint
