Amish Baked Apples

Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 apples, cored, peeled and halved
  • ¾ cup white sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp butter, melted
  • 1 cup water

Directions

  1. Place apples in greased dish.
  2. Mix remaining ingredients in pan and bring to a boil.
  3. Simmer, stirring until thick.
  4. Pour syrup over apples and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
