Amish Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Amish batter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1½ cups milk
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar|sugar
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1½ cups cornmeal
  • ¼ cup oil
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Directions

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a bowl and beat for 2 minutes.
  2. Add oil, baking soda, salt, and baking powder .
  3. Mix well and pour in well greased pan.
  4. Bake at 425°F for 25 - 30 minutes.
