Nargisi Kabab

Ingredients

  • ½ kg minced meat
  • 1 tsp green papaya|raw papaya
  • ½ tsp salt
  • eggs

  • ½ tsp mace
  • 4 green cardamoms
  • 2 brown cardamoms
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 dessert spoon poppy seeds
  • 1 tbsp cashew nuts
  • ½ tbsp chironji
  • ½ tbsp dry coconut
  • 1 large pinch saffron
  • 2 tbsp yogurt|curd
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • 2 - 3 drops of kewra essence and mithi ittar
  • 2 medium onions chopped
  • 2 tsp ginger paste
  • 2 tbsp besan
  • 1 tsp red chile powder|red chilli powder
  • chaat masala
  • oil for frying

Directions

  1. Mix sausage meat, onion, herbs and seasoning together.
  2. Press mixture firmly around eggs.
  3. Roll in flour; dip in egg and coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Chill for 1 hour.
  5. Deep fry for about 10 minutes until crisp.
  6. Drain and serve with salad.
  7. For the salad, arrange tomato and onion on a plate.
  8. Whisk remaining ingredients together.
  9. Pour over tomatoes.
  10. Season and serve.
