Laban (Ayran)
Ingredients
- 300ml (½ pint) plain natural yogurt|yoghurt
- 300ml (½ pint) sparkling or still water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- a pinch of dry mint
- Place yogurt|yoghurt and salt in a small bowl and mix.
- Add water to the bowl and whisk thoroughly.
- Pour into glasses and sprinkle with a pinch of mint.
