Laban (Ayran)

Ingredients

  • 300ml (½ pint) plain natural yogurt|yoghurt
  • 300ml (½ pint) sparkling or still water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • a pinch of dry mint

Directions

  1. Place yogurt|yoghurt and salt in a small bowl and mix.
  2. Add water to the bowl and whisk thoroughly.
  3. Pour into glasses and sprinkle with a pinch of mint.
