Yaounde Groundnut Soup
Ingredients
- 1 lb nut meal|ground nuts, roasted and shelled
- 4 cups consommé
- 1 cup milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- Pound the nuts to break them into pieces.
- Simmer with the consommé for 30 minutes or until nuts are tender.
- Force the peanuts through a sieve.
- Add milk and seasoning to the sieved nuts and pour on the remaining stock.
- Reheat for a further 10 minutes or until done.
