Garlic Pista Chips

Recipe Description

Prepare pita chips. Wrap; store at room temperature up to 2 days
* Makes 4 dozen.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter or margarine
  • 1½ teaspoons minced garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 whole wheat pitas, split

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F.
  2. Melt butter in saucepan over low heat with garlic and pepper.
  3. Brush on pita halves.
  4. Cut each half into 6 wedges and place buttered side up on cookie sheet.
  5. Bake 10 minutes or until toasted.
  6. Cool.
