Fernbrake salad


  • 16 oz go sa ri (fiddlehead|fern brake)
  • 3 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1½ tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 small pack paeng ee beoseot (enoki mushroom) - optional
  • 1 green onions|green onion - optional, chopped


  1. Soften the fiddlehead|fern brake according to what you have by following bottom direction.
  2. Cut the bottom of pae ee (enoki).
  3. Heat wok, put oil, add minced garlic, cook for a minute, add fiddlehead|fern brake.
  4. Cook until tender, add soy sauce, and salt, stir.
  5. Add paeng ee, green onions|green onion, cook for another minute.
  6. Finish with sesame seeds.
  7. Serve with rice.
  8. After first serving, let cool, put in a fridge. They store for 2 - 3 days.
