Naeamia be Wayka

Recipe Description

Serve warm with aseeda or kissra.

Ingredients

  • 1 litre plain yogurt
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp wayka (okra powder)
  • 4 onions
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic

Directions

  1. Chop onions and fry them in oil until golden.
  2. Crush onions.
  3. Blend tomatoes and add to onions.
  4. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Add yogurt, pepper, salt and garlic and stir until boiling.
  6. Add wayka, stir for 5 minutes.
