Ree Drummond’s Baked Fudge

Ree Drummond shares a delightfully simple recipe for baked fudge that is as easy as it is delicious.

Ree Drummond’s baked fudge might very well be the best dessert recipe you try this year… or any year.

This recipe for Baked Fudge looks so delicious, we can’t be held accountable for all the fingerprints you’re going to get on your monitor from trying to reach into your computer for a taste. Yes, it’s that good.

We have shared a lot of dessert recipes here at RecipeHub through the years, and each one has legitimately been pretty delicious. But this recipe for baked fudge had us drolling all over our desks. We’re calling it a great Fall dessert for cold, crisp nights, but let’s be totally honest: this is a great dessert any time you want to make it.

Even if you are an amateur baker who may even be a little afraid of their oven, there is almost no way to mess this recipe up. With a decent mixer, you can make this recipe in a matter of minutes. You simply combine the eggs and sugar, add cocoa, flour, vanilla, and melted butter, then mix on low until they are well combined. Once the mixture is well-incorporated, pour the batter into 4 ramekins, and bake them in a water bath at 325 degrees for about 45 minutes.

The final product should be a hybrid somewhere between chocolate pudding and a brownie: there should be a slightly crisp top but a gooey center. Also, choice of topping can make or break your dessert: vanilla iced cream or whipped cream is the easy choice. We suggest you get a little crazy: try mint chocolate chip or coffee ice cream. Throw some berries or fresh mint on top if you want to do whipped cream. Really, it’s almost impossible to mess this delicious dish up.
