Chicken Stew I

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breasts, cut in 1 inch cubes
  • 1 can fat-free chicken broth
  • 1½ cups potatoes; peel, cube
  • ½ cup onion; chop
  • ½ cup celery; slice
  • ½ cup carrots; slice thin
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ¼ tsp rubbed sage
  • ¼ tsp dried thyme
  • 3 oz no-salt-added tomato paste
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • 2 to 3 tbsp cornstarch

Directions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the first 11 ingredients; cover and cook on high for 4 hours, or all day on low.
  2. Mix water and cornstarch until smooth; stir into stew.
  3. Cook on high until thickened.
