Portuguese Marinade for Pork or Beef

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of red wine|red or white wine (more if you like )
  • 1 or 2 teaspoons of crushed garlic (again more if you want)
  • 1 teaspoon of dry red pepper flakes|crushed red pepper (you may want more of this also)
  • 1 can of beer (you will need this the next day)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Put the meat of choice in a dish or bowl.
  2. Mix all above ingredients and pour over the meat.
  3. Marinate for a day.
  4. Pour the beer over all and marinate at least 4 hours more.
