Quick Shrimp Chow Mein

Recipe Description

Makes 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups diagonally sliced celery
  • 1 cup sliced onion
  • 1 large green bell pepper|green pepper, cut into slivers
  • 12 ounces peeled, de-veined raw shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 x 16-ounce can fancy mixed Chinese vegetables
  • 1 x 10¾-ounce can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ? cup sliced pimentos
  • 3 cups hot cooked rice
  • 1 x 3-ounce can rice noodles or chow mein noodles

Directions

  1. Cook celery, onion, green bell pepper|green pepper and shrimp in oil until vegetables are tender crisp and Shrimp are pink.
  2. Add Chinese vegetables, soup, soy sauce, pepper and pimientos. Heat until hot through.
  3. Serve over beds of fluffy rice and sprinkle with noodles.
