Rice and Cheese Bake II

Recipe Description

Makes 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked brown rice
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar or American cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper|ground red pepper
  • 1 cup milk (made with nonfat dry milk)
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Directions

  1. Combine rice, Cheese, parsley, salt, mustard, Onion powder, black pepper, red pepper, milk and eggs in large bowl; mix well.
  2. Turn into greased 8x8x2-inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees 30 to 35 minutes or until firm near center. Do not overbake.
