Taco Skillet and Rice
Recipe Description
Makes 6 servings.Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 x 1¾-ounce package taco seasoning mix
- 1 x 10-ounce package frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 x 8-ounce can tomato sauce
- ½ cup water
- 3 cups hot cooked rice
- Brown beef in skillet, stirring to crumble meat. Drain off excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning mix, mixed vegetables, tomato sauce and water. Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
- Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Serve meat mixture in a ring of rice.
