Zhent the Kazakh Chocolate
Ingredients
- 5 cups of millet
- 4 cups of Irimshik
- 2 cups of Granulated sugar|Sugar
- 3 T Raisins
- 2 cups of butter.
- millet and irimshik are pound in a mortar. The mass obtained is mixed with Granulated sugar|Sugar and Raisins, butter is added and all this is cooled to thickening. The ready zhent is cut with a sharp heated knife.
