Avocado-Horseradish Spread

Recipe Description

  • 3 Hass avocado|California avocados (1½ pounds)
  • ? cup finely chopped onion
  • ? cup lemon juice
  • ¼ cup prepared horseradish (or to taste, depending on the strength of the horseradish)
  • ½ teaspoon salt


  1. Roughly mash avocados.
  2. Stir in finely chopped onion, lemon juice, prepared horseradish and salt.
  3. Chill 1 hour to marry flavors.
  4. Serve 2 tablespoons on roast beef and corned beef sandwiches or alone on a bagel or with smoked salmon.
