Carrots Israeli

Recipe Description

Makes 6 generous servings.


  • 1 1/2 lbs. carrots
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 c. dry white wine
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2/3 c. white Raisins
  • 3 tbsp. brown sugar


  1. Peel and slice carrots into 1/4 inch round slices.
  2. Place in pan with butter, wine and nutmeg.
  3. Cover and cook until tender.
  4. Stir in Raisins and brown sugar.
  5. Cook until Raisins are plump and carrots are glazed.
