Cheese Dumplings

Recipe Description

In Romanian: Galuste cu brinza

Ingredients

  • for dough, use the same quantities as for Plum Dumplings
  • 2 - 3 tablespoons Brinza cheese|sheep's cheese (preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons butter or lard

Directions

  1. Prepare a dough as for the Plum Dumplings.
  2. Shape small balls with your hands.
  3. Then boil in slightly salted water.
  4. Scald with melted butter or lard, put some cheese on top of them and serve hot.
