Clam Fritter

  • 1 pint of clams
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 2 tsp. of baking powder
  • 1/4 of a tsp. of red pepper flakes|crushed red pepper
  • 2 cups of oil for frying ( whatever kind you prefer).
  • Also, make sure you have enough oil so the fritters cannot sit on the bottom of the pan. Pan sizes vary.


  1. Mix all ingredients.
  2. Drop by the tablespoon and cook in hot oil.
  3. Fry until golden brown.
  4. If the batter seems to runny add a little flour at a time.
  5. Mix to test consistency.
