Decadent Chocolate Truffles
Recipe Description
Makes about 36 truffles.Ingredients
- ½ cup butter|unsalted butter, softened
- 2½ cups powdered sugar|confectioners' sugar
- ½ cup cocoa
- ¼ cup heavy cream|heavy or light whipping cream|whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon coffee liqueurs|coffee liqueur (such as Kahlúa) <ref>May substitute 1 tablespoon chocolate extract </ref>
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chocolate chips|chips, very finely chopped
- Cream butter in large bowl.
- Combine confectioner's sugar and cocoa.
- Add alternately with cream, coffee liqueur and vanilla to butter.
- Blend well.
- Chill until firm.
- Shape into 1-inch balls.
- Roll in semi-sweet chocolate until coated.
- Chill until firm.
