Round Biscuits

Recipe Description

A Romanian cookie called Pesmeciori perisoare.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup melted butter,
  • 1 cup water,
  • 2 cups flour,
  • 8 eggs, vanilla or a little grated lemon peel

Directions

  1. Set the water to boil with the butter.
  2. When it starts bubbling, immediately remove from heat and quickly add the flour, then the 8 eggs one by one and vanilla, all without stopping the stirring.
  3. Let cool and then either with your hands or a teaspoon, shape into balls and place them on a baking sheet leaving lots of distance among them.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
