Ecuadorian Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 qt sour milk
  • 5 - 6 cups bread cubes
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar|sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup raisins

Directions

  1. Scald milk.
  2. Add bread cubes and butter.
  3. Beat eggs.
  4. Add granulated sugar|sugar, salt, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and raisins.
  5. Combine both mixtures.
  6. Pour into buttered 9x13" pan. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
  7. Bake at 375 °F for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
