Egg and Cheese Pie
Ingredients
- 6 hard boiled eggs
- 1 tblsp butter or margarine 15ml
- 1 tblsp flour 15 ml
- 1/2 cup grated cheese 56g
- 3/4 cup milk 175ml
- 1 cup breadcrumbs 112g
- 1/2 tsp salt 2ml
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Boil eggs hard (10 minutes after water boils).
- Make white sauce.
- Cut eggs into slices.
- Put alternate layers of eggs, sauce and bread crumbs (as in macaroni and Cheese).
- Sprinkle top with Cheese.
- Bake 15-25 minutes in a moderate oven or until done.
