Garden Rice

Recipe Description

Makes 8 servings.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 x 10-ounce package frozen peas and carrots, thawed
  • 1 x 10-ounce package frozen broccoli, thawed
  • 1 x 8¾-ounce can corn, drained
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Heat oil in large skillet. Sauté onion until crisp-tender.
  2. Add broccoli, peas and carrots and corn. Stir; heat thoroughly.
  3. Add rice, tomato, garlic salt and pepper, stir until well blended.
