Ham and Rice Chantilly

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups diced cooked Ham
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup cooked garden pea|green peas
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Dash of cayenne pepper|ground red pepper
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped

Directions

  1. Combine Ham, rice, Peas, salt, peppers and 1/2 cup Cheese.
  2. Spoon into buttered shallow 2-quart casserole.
  3. Add remaining 1/2 cup Cheese to whipped cream.
  4. Spread over top of rice mixture.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees 30 minutes.
