Hot Baked Chicken Salad

Recipe Description

Makes 6 servings.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked rice, cooked in chicken broth
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast cubes (about 1 whole breast)
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1 red bell pepper|red pepper, chopped
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ½ cup garden pea|green peas
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon seasoned salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ cup slivered almonds

Directions

  1. Combine rice, chicken, cheese, celery, red pepper, onion and peas in large bowl.
  2. Stir together milk, mayonnaise, salt and pepper in small bowl; add to rice mixture.
  3. Transfer to 9x13-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Top with almonds.
  4. Bake at 400 °F for 15 to 20 minutes.
