Kamakäkid

Recipe Description

No, these are not Greek meatballs waiting to be shallow-fried again, but sweet tidbits made with mascarpone and the ubiquous Estonian ingredient kama.

Ingredients

  • 250 grams of mascarpone
  • 3 tbsp Granulated sugar|Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Raisins
  • 2 tbsp chopped nuts walnuts|( walnuts, as these are the only nuts that are native to Estonia)
  • About 2 dl kama flour
  • a dash of cream liqueur

Directions

  1. Mix everything together, and put into the fridge for a about 1/2 hour.
  2. Form into small balls, roll in kama or cocoa|cocoa powder.
  3. Now keep them in the fridge until ready to serve(Need to be set before serving).
