Macadamia Rice

Recipe Description

Makes 6 servings.


  • ½ cup chopped macadamia nuts
  • ¼ to ½ teaspoon crushed hot red pepper flakes
  • 2 teaspoons butter or margarine
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1½ tablespoons chopped fresh parsley


  1. Cook nuts with pepper flakes in butter in large skillet over medium-high heat until nuts are lightly browned.
  2. Add rice, cheese and parsley; stir until thoroughly heated.
