Mazurka with Chocolate

In Romanian: Mazurca cu ciocolata

Ingredients

  • 7 oz/200 g Granulated sugar|Sugar,
  • 8 egg yolk|yolks,
  • 2 whipped egg whites,
  • 4 tablespoons minced almonds,
  • 4 tablespoons grated chocolate,
  • 5 tablespoons flour,
  • butter

Directions

  1. Beat the Granulated sugar|Sugar with the egg yolk|yolks, add almonds and chocolate and mix well.
  2. Gradually add the flour and at the end the 2 whipped egg whites.
  3. Fold in gently. Bake at low heat in a pan covered with greased paper.
  4. When cold, cut into squares.
