Meringue Hazelnut Drops
Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1 cup Granulated sugar|Sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup toasted hazelnut meal|ground hazelnuts
- Beat egg whites in small bowl until soft peaks form; gradually add Granulated sugar|Sugar 2 tsp. at a time until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in 1 cup hazelnuts.
- Drop by tsp. on greased baking sheet.
- Top each with toasted hazelnut; sprinkle with Granulated sugar|Sugar.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
- May dust with Granulated sugar|Sugar.
