Carousel Rice Salad
Recipe Description
Makes 6 servings.Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked rice, cooled
- 1 cup grated carrots
- 1 cup sliced celery
- ? cup sweet pickle relish
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ? teaspoon ground black pepper
- lettuce leaves
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ teaspoon sweet Asian basil|sweet basil
- Combine rice, carrots, celery, pickle relish, salt and pepper in large bowl.
- Toss lightly; chill.
- Serve on lettuce leaves.
- Blend basil into sour cream; spoon over salad.
