Mock Apple Pie
Ingredients
- 6 militon, cooked well
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1½ cup granulated sugar|sugar
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 4 Tbsp flour
- dash salt
- 1 Tbsp lime juice
- unbaked pie shell ==
- ½ cup granulated sugar|sugar
- ½ cup flour
- ? cup margarine
- Combine all ingredients except the chayote|mirliton.
- Mix in the chayote|mirliton.
- Line a 9 inch pie pan with pastry and fill with fruit mixture.
- Mix together the following: granulated sugar|sugar, flour, margarine.
- Sprinkle over pie and bake at 400 °F for 40 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
