Moroccan Pepper Sauce

Recipe Description

A hot dip from Morocco suitable for serving with any salad or appetizer. Makes 10oz.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup olive oil

Directions

  1. Blend the spices, garlic, and salt together until they begin to form a paste.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a pan and, when it is hot, add the spice mixture.
  3. Cook on a medium heat for about 5 minutes. Make sure to stir it because it will begin to burn.
  4. As soon as it is off the heat, it is ready to serve.
