Nayama Tanzanian SoupIngredients
- 1 tsp. curry powder
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 1 medium Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 C. coconut
- 2.5 lb. Beef
- 1 T. tomato paste
- 1 - 2 fresh tomatoes, coarsley chopped
- juice of 1/2 large lime
- 2 tsp. salt
- Brown in 2T oil curry,Cayenne,Onion,coconut and cloves garlic
- Add Beef, cut into chunks
- Add tomato paste,tomatoes,juice lime and salt
- Cover with water and simmer for 2 to 3 hours
