Cheese-topped Tuna Casserole
Recipe Description
Makes 2 to 3 servings.Ingredients
- ? cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon butter or margarine
- 1 cup cooked rice
- ? cup tuna, drained and flaked
- 7 tablespoons (? of 10¾-ounce can) condensed cream of celery soup
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ? teaspoon ground black pepper
- ? cup (1.3 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
- Cook onion in butter in small skillet until tender but not brown.
- Stir in rice, tuna, soup, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
- Turn into greased shallow 6-inch baking dish or individual casseroles.
- Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
- Top with cheese and bake 5 minutes longer.
