Old Recipe Rhubarb Jam

Ingredients

  • 15 c rhubarb, cut up
  • 8 ea oranges
  • 14 c Granulated sugar|Sugar
  • 1 c walnuts

Directions

  1. Put oranges through food chopper.
  2. Put Granulated sugar|Sugar and oranges over rhubarb and let soak overnight.
  3. Next morning cook slowly for 1 1/2 hours.
  4. Add walnuts and put in hot jars.
  5. This makes 5 to 6 quarts (5 to 6 liters).
  6. This recipe is about 50 years old.
